Brought up on exhaust fumes with a father that raced bikes being either hill climbs, dirt track or side-cars, it wasn't hard for Rod to enjoy his passion with anything that goes. With a family that boasted a mums Toyota with a 202 Holden in it, a fathers Morris Minor with a 1300 Mazda up front, a brothers EH Holden with a 350 LT1 Corvette motor and then of course Rod's beloved HQ Panel Van with anything in it from a fully worked 308 to a 454 Chev to eventually the Corvette motor taken from the EH.
When Rod decided to change his career he had to decide of what he wanted to do and it seemed natural for him to look down the path of anything automotive, he has always had a passion for Corvettes and after a trip to the USA and purchasing a black Z06 he was hooked after that more trips to the USA to learn of where to buy and to put his contacts into place.
